The internet business has become one of the fastest types of business in the past ten years. They began to grow in between 1997 and 2001 . People invested their money into the stocks and stocks were at their all time high. The internet business broke the mold on how a successful business could be run. Most of the country for that matter much of the world, the top businesses belong to the internet. For example, Google, Yahoo, Msn, Ebay, Amazon and most recently Myspace.
At one time or another over half of the population will have tried an internet business. It is not so easy. There are good points vs. bad points on starting a computer business rather a regular one. In the internet business you would not need as much money as you would to start a regular business. The bad point would be that you would have to rely on word of mouth mostly for advertising.
Now, if you have decided to start an internet business there are several things that you will need to do. For starters you will need a good idea, try to stay away from the popular sites that already exist, such as books, arcades, toys because you will have to work hard to get the search engine to recognize your site ( we will discuss that later) . Once you have a business plan you will need to think of a clever but catchy name, a name people will remember. Once you have thought of one you have to see if it is available through a domain site, most popular site is Go Daddy. Now that you have your name, you have find a hosting company to host your website on their server, again most popular one is Go Daddy.
Designing your website can be fun if you know how, there are scripts and codes and if you have never done this before it will all look like alien writing to you. You will have to hire someone to do this for you. Remember before when we said there are good vs. bad? This is one of them. A good web designer is going to cost a lot of money. Money well worth spending if you can make a go of the site or is it money you can afford to lose if you don’t make it.
There are many ways to make money online. You can join what is called an Affiliate Marketing Program, this is a free to join program where vendors will pay you to put their ad on your website. You’ve seen these before, you go to your favorite website you see the ads on the side or on the bottom and underneath it says Ads by Google or Ads by Yahoo. Some of those ads will be for cribs or ring tones. You click on the ad and if someone buys a crib from that site you will get a percentage of the sale.
Or you could choose to run your internet business the way some people do. This way is the hard way, you have to put a lot of work into it. Your web designer must be great, your content in your site must be fresh and exciting and you must keyword your site. The keyword to your site is basically what your site is about. If you are starting a site on used cars, then your keywords will be cars, used cars and every make and model car that you are putting on that site. It has to be enough for the search engines to notice. The lower the number you are on a search engine the better off you are. If you end up on the first page that is a major major accomplishment.
Before you think of doing an internet business, just give some thought to the points we have mentioned and if you decide to go forward Good Luck!
There are many money making scams around, whether it is on the internet or in the newspapers a scam is a scam. On line, it could be anything from being paid to read e-mails or selling items on Ebay. You encounter money making scam in the ads people put in the newspaper.
A couple of the more familiar ones are the envelope stuffing jobs. The concept sounds good, stuff envelopes, we provide the insert and stamps and all you have to do is stuff and mail. All with a promise of you getting a check for 1500.00. But what they don’t tell you is that you only get paid if someone buys something off of the ad on the insert. Now you have spent hours and hours stuffing and sealing envelopes and you have nothing but blisters to show for it.
Another great scam is the processing of government refunds. Yeah right, what kind of government agency is going to advertise in a penny saver for people to work and then provide some 800 number with a million digit extension. If you actually fall for that one, then I have a bridge to sell you.
There are some legit work from money making program like the medical or legal transcriptionist program but they require some type of certification. Those are the ones if you are qualified are great.
Then you have the jewelry assemblers. Assemble bracelets, necklaces, magnets, all a scam. You may do the work but maybe 9 times out of 10 if you do get paid it is very little.
The best one of all time, is the secret shoppers, not the ones the stores hire but the ones that again advertise in the local paper with an 800 number and a recording. In cases like this, you call and they want you to do some secret shopping at a near by store. The beauty of this plan is that the employees are unaware of a secret shopper, lets face it if they knew it wouldn’t be secret.
You get instructions to go into a store and evaluate the employees, the way the store is run etc. You go you do the job you write out the paperwork. Some companies let you e-mail the results, they actually send you a check but alas the check bounces. You have to be very careful, because some people will cash these at a check cashing place and they will give you the money and then they come to find out the check bounced and now you are in big legal trouble because you passed a bad check.
Be wary of any money making programs. Always check out the company BEFORE you do any work for them, this will save you a lot of heartache.
Many times when people hear the terms work at home or home based business, they tend to shy away because an internet business can be a risky venture or a profitable one. But not all home based businesses have to be internet related.
There are many many at home businesses that have nothing to do with the computer at all. There are people whose jobs allow them to work from home. For example that would be Doctors, Dentist, Hair Cutters, Physical Therapy, you get the point. Now I am not saying to rush right out and go to Med school but there are other opportunities you can have.
The most common home based business is Child Care. This is a rather expensive necessity if you have kids. The centers whom shall remain nameless charge you an arm and a leg for Child Care. But the women who run the small centers from their home not charge you your first years salary.
You have to decide ahead of time what you want to charge. How much is to much? Remember most likely the parents that are going to come to you because they expect that they will save money with you. From other home based daycare’s the average charge is roughly $100-$ 150 per week. Also remember to set your hours because if you don’t a parent may work overtime and you will end up caring for their child until eight or nine o’clock at night. Set your rules early.
It is not difficult to start your own daycare. The first thing you are going to need is a lot of patience. Without that you are sunk before you swam. All Child Care providers need a certificate from the State. You can call your local county office clerks office and they will help you. Now that you are licensed, you have to set up some kind of operations from your home, if you have a backyard and a fence then it is a good place to start.
Next you need room in the home where the children are going to play, eat, have diaper changes if you are going to accept babies. Some places do not because the liability on their insurance is to high if God forbid something happens. Then you have to make sure you have enough activities do. You are going to need an assistant because you will someone to watch the kids while you make them lunch or take a bathroom break. Especially if you accept babies.
The hardest part about this type of business is getting the business. Word of mouth is usually the way to go but you have to get started. You can advertise in supermarkets, distribute flyers or advertise in your local paper. It may not happen overnight but be patience because like any other business it does take time .
More and more people have chosen to work from home especially parents. Not the work from home jobs you see in the back of the tabloids but real work from home jobs. With the cost of living going up everyday and especially gas prices alone, it makes more sense to find a work from home job.
The most cost effective reason to work at home for a parent is the child care. Child care in this country is one of the most expensive services around. Unfortunately the people who runs these centers know that and for some parents it is something they can’t do without.
In half of the cases, parents have a job that lets them work from home. For example, Salesmen, Accountants, Medical or Legal Transcriptionist and more commonly Dentist and Doctors who have home practices.
The other half of people are Entrepreneurs, they are the people who create their own work from home businesses. A lot of women create their own Child care business because they know what is like to need someone to watch their children and they know and understand the financial burden it can become. Other women start nail salons, hair
cutting salon because they cannot afford the shop or some kind of baking business.
Once you have established your work from home business or you may already have a job that allows you to work from home, You now have to figure out how to balance the work from home part and the child care part. I mean that is that is the whole reason why you want to work from home right?
Scheduling is going to be the most important thing you can do at this point. So aside from feeding your kids, changing diapers ( if you have small children) naptime and not to mention all of those unexpected occurrances that happen during the day you must run your business. You may need to run business errands, return or make phone calls and do paperwork.
You should find a place where you could work where your paperwork won’t end up with peanut butter and jelly smudges on it. Also, you may want to notify the people you are working for that you are working from home and a 9 to 5 day may not be possible. I mean you will have those definite schedule times like meal times and naptimes that is where maybe phone calls can be returned and paperwork may be finished. But leave room for error because you know what best laid plans?
Make sure that the business you choose to do at home goes hand and hand with taking care of your children. That’s why a lot of women choose daycare and baking because it can be incorporated with your child.
Remember why you are working from home. Remember it is to save on ever rising gas prices and unfair child care. Sometimes when you do work from home you can caught up in the day to day grind of a job and then the family suffers. With great planning and exceptional multi tasking (which are the keys to a good home based business) you will succeed.
I know we all love to make money. The internet has made making money a snap. The internet has made it easy to create scams to make money.
You can make money online if you know where to look. It seems like everyday there is more and more internet businesses popping up. Some most of these businesses fail.
When looking to make money online, you need to do lots of research. Several internet business opportunities take advantage of people wanting to work at home.
When I started making money on the internet in 1996 I started making money reading emails for pennies. A few years after that I started working for a paid to read email company. The company went out of business. After that I found myself looking a way to earn money online. I got an email saying “make big money selling on ebay” I answered the email and they asked me some questions and got my credit card # and billed me $100.00. After I got off the phone I checked out the company and found out it was a scam.I was told to get my money back, so I asked for my money back and that was 5 years ago and I never got my money back.
Moral to that story don’t pay anyone to earn money online and if it sounds too good to be true it is probably a scam.Choose carefully with your eyes wide open.
Ways to make money online. One way to make money is paid to read email. Paid to read is a good way to earn money on the internet if you have very little time for the internet. Some paid to read email companies have a large payout and a big sign up bonus. Beware those companies usually won’t pay you. You should pick a paid read company that usually has a low payout (usually $5.00-$50.00) they usually pay. You also can get a free website on anything you want and join affiliate programs that require you to place their banner on your site and you get paid for click or sale. Two good programs for that is share a sale and affiliate network. You can also make money by filling out surveys. There are lots of them around. I have been paid from them in the past. Another way to make money is mlm (multi level marketing). This is not for everyone. Mlm requires you to sale products and recruit others to work under you. Mlm is the hardest way to earn money. If you are good at selling and recruiting than you will make big money with mlm. No matter if you are a novice or an expert at the internet. You can make money online, but it will take time and effort on your part. The money will come it you stick with it.
A way to earn money online is to start or join an internet business. You can start a business with anything. People have made crafts and sold them online and made good money. All it takes is a website and you can get a starter site free. An internet business can be made up of good or services.
You can even write articles on what you are good at. I have seen people start businesses offering their advise an any topics. You can even start your own dollar store online. Everyone loves dollar stores.
When starting your own internet business there are a few things to consider :
1.choose your product based on demand
2.Get a domain name
3.make your site
4.find hosting
5.make your own newsletter
6.sell it right
7.get some traffic to your site and
8.test and revise if needed.
You need to submit your business to search engines. When you get your website up and running you need to make sure site are :
1.Quick loading
2.make your site catch the web surfers attention
3.make sure you have lots of information on your goods or services and
4.get customers email address so you can get in touch.
If you are selling a product you need to find your market. You would not want to target mothers with babies when selling men’s products. This may sound a little extreme, but you get my point. Any good or services you sell you need to price it for profit, but don’t make your prices too high. If things are priced too high you won’t get many sales. If you create a new product that is not out on the market yet be sure you get a patent so no one can steal your product. Above all you must love your product or service. One final thing you need to have good customer service skills.
Today there is thousands and thousands of internet business opportunities out there. I hope to inform you about a few of them.Every day you can find all sorts of internet businesses for sale. They range from adult toys to cars and lots of in between. A lot of these businesses don’t even require you to carry an inventory. One of the up and coming internet business opportunities out there is make and sale screen savers that you make with your digital camera. That is hot right now because lots of people have digital cameras. With this one if you have a digital camera you have no out lay of cash. A good business opportunity is creating your own software. That is for someone who is good about computers and knowing software. If you are good at that you can be the next Bill Gates.
The biggest and best internet business opportunities is adult websites. Adult websites are not for everyone but if you like that thing you can earn thousands of dollars a month. With adult websites the only monthly expense you will have is hosting and the rest is all profit. If you want to have an internet business please do research.Right now is a great time to seek out a good internet business opportunity.
In conclusion every one wants to make money online. It is never too late you you to get your share of the internet money. You will not make money right away.It takes time to make the good money. If you choose a internet business opportunity be careful. You need to know your target audience. Above all else you need to choose a business opportunity that you like to do. If you choose something you do not like to do. You will not make money. I can’t stress enough that it takes time and effort to earn money. At first you don’t succeed try again.Don’t loose site of your goal (making money). If you fall victem to a scam get back and try harder next time. I know that everyone is bound to run into a scam. It happens to the best of us. We are only human and we all want to get rich quick. I hope you learned something that will help you in the long run. I wish you all the success in the world.Good luck.
Today more and more people are working out of their homes. The work at home idea started so moms could stay at home with their children. Several years ago only a few people worked at home. The people who worked at home usually did work at home after their work hours. Now with the internet more and more people are working at home. Now a lot of people are starting their own home based businesses. Today mom and dads both work at home. The internet is also filled with online work at home jobs. I myself work at home and love it. If you are thinking of looking for work online just beware of and steer clears of scams.
Work at home is huge right now. When you work at home you can set your own hours and even work in your night clothes. When you work at home you are really free to work and do the other things you need to do when you want. You can find many work at home jobs on the net, but if they ask you for a fee to work at home just walk away. A legitimate work at home jobs will never ask you for any money up front. One of the fastest growing work at home jobs is mystery shopping jobs. A person can make good money mystery shopping. If you are looking for a mystery shopping job look for the ones that say they are free. Several companies ask for fees before you can do a mystery shop for them. You need to walk away from those because there are too many free mystery shopping companies out there.
The best way when searching for a good work at home opportunity you need to use good key words and they are,
1.must have a home office
2.1099
3.independent contractor
4.virtual office
5.remote contractor
6.off-site
7.freelance
8.must have DSL
9.home based and
10.home-based employee.
Using those words should help you steer clear of scams. If you are unsure if a work at home job is a scam just look for these key words,
1.typing jobs
2.envelope stuffing
3.assembly\crafts
4.processing government refunds
5.chain letters
6.medical billing and
7.paid to read email.
Paid to read email is not a real job, but is more a hobby. Some people say you can earn a living reading emails, but that is far from the truth. If you are looking for a real work at home job look for the following red flags,
1. asking for a fee
2.the claim of easy work
3.the claim of easy money for little work
4.testimonials
5.no kits, no fees, not mlm
6.no experience necessary and
7.a 900 number to call.I hope this gives a clear picture of what to look for when you are looking for online work at home and work at home jobs.
There are many types of home based business. The biggest home based business is the Watkins home based business. You can even start your own business from home. I have seen people make candles at home and sell them on the internet and make real good money. When starting your business you need to make sure you have the following,
1.cash flow-you need to make sure you have enough money for your business and to live on
2.a business license-if you need one where you live
3.insurance,if you are going to have people visit your business
4.benefits-chances are that you left your job,you lost your benefits,so you need to find benefits for the self-employed
5.accounting and tax advise-you need some expert advise so you don’t owe the government more money than you have and
6.time management-you must have time to devote to your business at least 40+ hours.
Some home based business require little or no money to start.
There are 15 rules for a successful home based business :
1.it is not as bad as you think-it all looks overwhelming, but it is as hard as you make it
2.get mad than get over it fast-if you get mad that it is not going your way just take it and move on
3.don’t have a large ego-if you have a large ego and things go slow, you will be hard on your self and will fail
4.it can be done-with a little time and effort you will be a success
5.be careful of the type of business you choose-if you choose a bad idea you will fail
6.don’t let adverse facts get in your way-just because some one has tried the same type of business and failed does not mean you will fail
7.don’t make some one’s else’s choices-please don’t let any one make your choices for you
8.beware of the small details-look at the small details and don’t let them slip away
9.share the credit-give credit where credit where credit is due
10.remain calm- don’t panic if things don’t go your way at first. They will go better down the road
11.have a vision-plan where you want your business to be in a few years
12.Don’t let your fears get in the way-I know we all have fears,But face them head on
13.be optimistic-have a good attitude and you will go far and be a success
14.if you piss people off don’t worry-pissing people off is all part of it.You can’t please all the people all the time and
15.you never know what you will get away with-try something new and you get away with it than go for it, take chances. Follow these things and you should be a success.
Now to get your business off the ground you need to advertise. The best way to advertise is by search engines and placing banners everywhere you can.Another good way to advertise your business is to write articles for ezines.
In conclusion there is so much to write on the subjects of home based businesses and working at home in one article, so be on the look out for more articles on the subject. A home based business is not for every one. You need to be able to work without direction. You need to be dedicated and strong. You need to be motivated to work on your own. Both types of jobs are not for every one. If you get in to this type of work you need to stay focused and have fun. Don’t let the hard times get you down. With a little work and time you will be a success. Till next time I wish you all the success in the world.
You can work at home whenever you’d like, morning, noon, night .. midnight if you’d like .. it doesn’t matter. Simply log in and select surveys to fill out, get paid for your time. Work at home for 30 minutes or three hours, it doesn’t matter ..you set your own hours!

Dear Internet Friend,
It just makes me sick!
There are so many hyped-up “get rich quick” work at home or home based business opportunity schemes floating around the Internet — it drives me crazy!
You’ll find all kinds of people running around touting themselves as Internet “experts” making wild claims about how easy to work at home and to become the next Internet millionaire.
Yeah right.
I say, “Put your money where your mouth is”. Let all of us see what you are selling on the Internet that isn’t “how to get rich quick on the Internet”.
Sadly, I don’t think you could find many takers on this challenge.
But that’s exactly what I’ve done. I’ve been making money hand-over-fist on the Internet. In my first 6 ½ months, going at it haphazardly, I banked $51,351.94, working just part-time out of the corner of my living room. Now I’ve refined the process I use. I’ve honed it down to a science. A science that you can learn and profit from in as little as 6 weeks (but more on that in a minute).
Within 5 minutes…I was getting orders!…
“I have bought all of the Internet marketing courses by the big name “gurus” but NONE of them compare with yours. Quite simply it is the best. There is no fluff, no filler only a hard-hitting step-by-step system for achieving success.
I LOVE the way you have everything laid out in an easy to follow system. Your section on writing killer copy blows everyone else away. I took your system, created an e-book, wrote a sales letter web site by following your formula EXACTLY (it couldn’t have been any easier), promoted it to my opt-in list EXACTLY as you describe, created an affiliate program based on your extremely in-depth and easy to follow formula and the results were immediate! I’m talking within 5 minutes of sending out an email announcement, I was getting orders! Keep in mind that I had a web site up before I got your course and I sold some stuff every now and then but NEVER as consistently or to the extent that I am doing now.
Here’s the bottom line: It doesn’t matter how many other Internet marketing courses someone has bought, if they don’t have yours, they are missing the boat. You are the real deal.”

Cruise the Internet at any time and it is obvious that many individuals are actively seeking to either start a work at home business, or maintain one. The literature available and the number of programs concerning home businesses attest to this fact, simply by the sheer volume of available materials on the Internet.
A home business of one’s own is quite attractive to everyone, as many individuals have lost any faith whatsoever in the “corporate identity” of today due to job lay-offs and closings. Businesses no longer offer their employees the stability and benefits that they once did, and this has led to the “Internet Work-At-Home-Business Boom” of today.
Although there are many ways to make money on the Internet, and in a home business, everything from producing your own goods and services to running an online wholesale storefront, a good choice for many “beginners” is either an Affiliate Program or Network Marketing Program (previously called MLM, or Multi-Level Marketing).
Affiliate Programs and Network Marketing Programs are essentially, “turn-key businesses”, in that individuals joining the programs are given a business that is already, for the most part, “in place”. A product or service is provided, as well as instructions and support, and there may even be marketing materials and a Website given. Methods of payment are usually provided also, and it is quite reasonable that everyone can start a work at home business in quite a short period of time by choosing to join an Affiliate Program or Network Marketing Program. Many have become quite successful with either of these business models, and there are thousands of new members each and every day.
There are differences, though, in these business models, and care should be taken when joining to ensure that the program most closely fits what the person joining is searching for in a work at home business. Here then, are the major differences, to guide anyone in their choice of program model:
In Affiliate Programs there may be one or two income levels, with a standard earning percentage. An Affiliate Program can be somewhat easier to market, as the monetary investment is usually smaller, but there is little, if any chance of residual income (long-term extra cash flow based on multiple earning levels). Affiliate Programs, though, take less maintenance than Network Marketing Programs, and the results can usually be seen sooner, due to their more simplistic nature. Unlike Network Marketing Programs, many Affiliate Programs can be marketed almost entirely online, with very little customer contact.
In Network Marketing Programs, there are many, many levels of income (hence the multi-level idea), leading to more long-term residual income. However, Network Marketing Programs do entail a much larger extent of customer contact, as they require the building of “downlines” to achieve the residual income, and anyone joining must provide support to their downlines almost continually in order to maintain a certain income level. A Network Marketing Company can usually be somewhat harder to start and maintain, but can grow more easily to the level in which an individual member so chooses.
The choice of one business model or another as a work at home business is rather personal and should be well suited to an individual’s personal needs and personality. All in all, if you are a real “people person” who desires a great income, and has a lot of determination, then a Network Marketing Program will be a good choice. On the other hand, if you are somewhat shy, would rather have a program that turns around more quickly and easily, and if you prefer to “work alone”, than an Affiliate Program is probably the better choice.
Just remember, when choosing any work at home business, consider yourself and your needs well, and you will indeed, make the perfect choice.

Let’s face it, having a work at home business on the Internet is both exciting, as well as difficult. The competition for customers, as well as the anonymity of the Internet, leads to frustration at times by those marketing their work at home business online.
Many online chores can be time consuming also, taking precious time away from other chores that would improve marketing efforts and success. Since many people have to be reached on a consistent basis by anyone endeavoring to succeed online in their home business, a few tools, that cost very little, are probably a necessity in the fast-paced online marketing environment of today.
Five tools that are economical, and practically a “must-have” for any serious online marketer, are as follows:
1. A professional Website: Whether you are marketing your own goods, services, or products, or whether you are an Affiliate Program Member, or a Network Marketing Member, your own professional Website is a virtual “must” (even if it only looks “professional” and you’ve created it yourself). There are many good template software programs out there for this need, as well as affordable Website design services. Affiliate Program “viral Websites” or any Network Marketing “viral Website” can be used initially, as well as the “sub-domain free sites”, but to see “real sales” everyone will eventually need their own domain name, and Website.
2. A good, reliable hosting service: Sometimes the most affordable is not the way to go, as affordability may sometimes result in a lot of “downtime” for your site, which you want to avoid as much as you can. Most hosts do experience some “downtime” off and on (this can’t really be avoided, as technology is never that predictable), but ask others about their own “downtimes” on their sites before choosing a Web host, as too much “downtime” will result in too many lost sales.
3. A good Auto-responder: An auto-responder will automatically generate a pre-written message to anyone seeking more information from you or your business. In any work at home business, especially if you are the “sole employee”, it can become difficult to respond to many requests immediately. Since sales are lost many times because of “delays in responding” to the initial contact, an auto-responder will keep the prospects happy until you can get back to them personally.
4. A professional Web address with email: Free e-mail accounts are good for personal contact on the Internet, but should be avoided when establishing an Internet home business. It simply is more secure and looks more professional to have a “business e-mail” with a consistent, well-established ISP (Internet Service Provider), than it does to have a “free” e-mail account. This lends credibility to your business.
5. A good, reliable e-book on marketing, written by a well-known reputable marketing “expert”: Look around diligently for this. Although marketing e-books abound, the really good ones are few and far between. A good marketing e-book should cover everything from advertising to zeroing in on your niche market. Digest the book you choose before starting, and you’ll see your efforts reap rewards much sooner than if you “try and go it alone” immediately.
These tools are just a start, and of course, there are many more. These are what I consider the “basics” though and will help get you started successfully in your work at home business.
